Join us as we celebrate September 22-27 with a week full of specialty yoga classes FREE to the community! Yoga can stretch away the stress of daily life, make you more flexible, and help you maintain a healthy weight. Check out the schedule below for a list of available classes.

Mon, Sept. 22 - 10:45am & Wed, Sept. 24 - 7:15am- Chair Yoga: Reap the benefits of yoga without needing to get on the floor! Increase flexibility, range of motion, and tighten the abdominals in a safe, gentle chair program. GF Studio
Mon, Sept. 22 - 6:30pm- Happy Yoga: Everyone is inherently happy, but our true self is shadowed and concealed by the layers of worry that, through habit, become our daily thoughts. We will use yoga wisdom to teach you how to strip away these worries to reach your core of calm, radiant joy. GF Studio
Tues, Sept. 23 - 10:00am - Restorative Yoga: *PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED. In restorative yoga, experience the Zen of the class in restful postures that will relax the body and still the mind, leaving you nourished and well rested. Gentle stretching and melting into bolsters, blocks, blankets, and other props will help you to find your inner peace and a place of deep relaxation. Activity Studio
Tues, Sept. 23 – 11:30am – Yoga Lean: *PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED.Losing weight is a transformational process that involves the mind, body, and spirit. Therefore, Yoga Lean is designed to work from the inside out, drawing from the self-inquiry of yoga philosophy to take into account every student's unique story, customizing a program that fits their lifestyle, and emphasizing the yogic practices of breathing, meditation, and mindfulness. You will also learn asana, class sequences created for differing body shapes and sizes. Activity Studio
Tues, Sept. 23 - 6:30pm Prenatal Yoga: *PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Strengthen mind, body, and spirit in preparation for labor and delivery with a class designed to help expectant moms deepen their experience and enjoyment of pregnancy. Class includes yoga postures to address and relieve the common discomforts of pregnancy; relaxation techniques and breathing exercises to ease fear and anxiety; abdominal and pelvic floor toning to enhance postnatal recovery. This class is beneficial at any time during pregnancy. Activity Studio
Wed, Sept.24 - 6:00am- Yoga for Athletes: This mixed level class is designed to introduce the benefits of hatha yoga to the athlete's body. Runners, Cyclists, Triathletes, Swimmers, all are welcome. Don't let the name fool you this is not a KILLER class. This class is designed to address the most commonly overused and restricted parts of an athlete's body...hamstrings, hip flexors, shoulder rotators, etc. It is a great way to enhance your sport. Wed, Sept. 24 - 9:30am- Mom & Baby Yoga: *PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED. This unique class combines yoga and play to get back in shape while strengthening the bond between you and your infant. Participants experience flowing asanas, challenging postures, and calming restorative time in a playful and safe environment for babies. Learn Baby Yoga exercises to strengthen growing muscles, aid in digestion, promote better sleeping patterns, and help your infant towards their next stage of development. Dads are welcome too! Wed, Sept. 24 - 10:45am - Yoga Back: Our Yoga instructor will teach you how to prevent back pain by strengthening your core, hip and glute muscles AND by improving your posture. Learn safe and efficient yoga warm-ups, plus a fun flowing body-sculpting sequence, followed by a soothing cool-down. Exercise modifications are offered for all fitness levels. GF Studio
Thurs, Sept 25.-4:30pm - Kids Yoga: *PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED. This playful class encourages self-expression as well as building social skills. Children will strengthen their bodies as they learn how to focus through breathing and relaxation techniques. Kids sing, draw, and play yoga in this energy releasing class. Class is 45 minutes. Thurs, Sept. 25 – 6:30pm- Yoga Butt: Lift it up, tighten and tone your glutes, and get ready to totally re-do your rear view with an amazingly fun and effective lower-body workout. Add a small sculpting ball to traditional flowing yoga poses to deeply define your inner/outer thighs, hips, and glutes (as well as the rest of your body!). Adding the ball to many in-depth pose improves your posture, revs your exercise intensity and jump-starts your energy level. GF Studio
Fri, Sept. 26 – 1:00pm- Yoga with Props: There are untold numbers of common and uncommon ‘props’ we can add to our yoga practice to help us stretch, strengthen, balance, relax, or improve body alignment. Props can increase the difficulty of poses, or on the flipside aid in the development of poses. In this fun class, we will use straps, blocks, fitness balls and BOSU’s as we discover poses in a whole new way. GF Studio
Sat, Sept. 27 – 8:30am- Core Yoga: Creating a strong and stable core is the single most important aspect of a fit and balanced body. Your Core Yoga instructor will lead through a flow that incorporates lots of poses designed to strengthen the core, the symbolic center of power. The class is balanced with poses that will lengthen the core muscles as well. GF Studio
