Slow-It-Down Oatmeal in the Crockpot
3 cups water or reduced-fat milk
2 cups peeled, chopped apples
1½ cups steel-cut or old-fashioned
¼ cup sliced almonds
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1. Combine water or milk, apples, oats,
almonds and cinnamon in crockpot. Cover; cook on LOW for 8 hours.
2. Enjoy for breakfast the next morning.
