Fresh Seasonal Fruit Crisp
2-3 cups fresh
seasonal fruit slices (peaches, nectarines, pears, etc.) and/or berries
no-trans-fat margarine or butter-oil blend
½ cup old-fashioned
packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground
1/8 teaspoon ground
1. Preheat oven to 400
degrees. Coat a baking dish with cooking spray. Layer the baking pan with the
fresh fruit mix.
2. In medium small
bowl, cut margarine or butter into the oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Stir in pecans. Sprinkle the oat mixture over the fruit. Bake for 20 minutes or
until fruit is tender and topping is golden brown.
3. Remove from oven; let stand
15 minutes before serving. Makes 4 servings.
