On Saturday, July 24, the Port Republic Road entrance to the RMH campus will be closed from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. for road paving.

“The road expansion of Port Republic Road requires this brief window to allow workers to connect parts of the new highway,” said Paul Ketron, director, Facilities Management. “The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is working proactively to make this work happen in as short a time period as possible.”

Ketron noted that VDOT will add signs and flagmen to redirect traffic to RMH’s main entrance via the new Stone Spring Connector.

“We appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation in this brief period of inconvenience,” he said. “However, we are grateful VDOT is working to accomplish this phase of the project swiftly, with minor disruption to traffic flow.”
