To honor chaplain Ralph Cline for his lifetime of service to Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, RMH Chaplaincy Services will host a public reception from 2-4 p.m. May 16, in the RMH Outpatient Center 4th floor conference rooms.
Cline is being recognized for his 30 years of volunteer service to RMH through the RMH Chaplaincy Services department, his many years of service in the RMH Hospice volunteer program, and his long-term support of RMH’s cardiac rehabilitation program.
He is also being recognized for his dedicated community service through organizations such as Industrial & Commercial Ministries, the Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community, the Harrisonburg City School Board, the Salvation Army, and Otterbein United Methodist Church, said Robin Martin, manager, RMH Chaplaincy Services.
“Truly the entire community has been influenced for good by the diligent efforts of Ralph and his wife, Ann, who has supported him in his volunteerism through the years,” Martin said.
She noted that a brief program of recognition from 2:30-3 p.m. will feature comments from RMH staff and others who have worked with Cline.
The reception is open to the public, but registration is requested. To register, call RMH Healthsource at 433-4580 by Friday, May 14.
