RMH urologist Jeffrey York, MD, will present a free seminar for women, “Struggling with Bladder Control,” at 7 p.m. March 17 on the fourth floor of the RMH Outpatient Center.
Dr. York will discuss the causes of incontinence as well as medical resources for achieving bladder control.
According to the National Association for Continence, an estimated 13 million Americans experience incontinence, and most of them are women.
“Childbirth, injury and age may all affect bladder control,” he notes. “Women should know they’re not alone in dealing with this problem, and there are solutions available.”
Registration is required by March 12 by online registration or calling RMH HealthSource, (540) 433-4580.
