The RMH East Rockingham Health Center (ERHC) will host a free community health fair, including health screenings and children’s activities, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. March 20.
In addition, free seasonal flu and H1N1 vaccinations and booster shots will be offered.
“Health screenings are a valuable way to detect and prevent disease,” said Terri Huffman, primary care services director, RMH Medical Group. “This event is our way of saying thank you to the community for their support and providing a day that’s both healthy and fun for families.”
Adults may receive free blood pressure, blood sugar and prostate screenings. Children may enjoy games, face painting, the Gus Bus and more. Refreshments will be available and door prizes will be awarded.
East Rockingham Health Center is located at 13737 Spotswood Trail (Rt. 33 east of Elkton).
Prostate screenings require registration by calling RMH Healthsource at 433-4580.
