Community members are invited to attend one of two preview sessions March 23 at the Harrisonburg First Church of the Nazarene on Port Republic Road to learn more about the new RMH hospital and health campus.
The preview sessions, slated for 6-7 p.m. and 7:30-8:30 p.m., will be hosted by RMH President and CEO Jim Krauss. Each will include a virtual tour of the building and campus, remarks from hospital planning officials, and time for questions and answers.
“Over the past four years, the community has watched with curiosity and excitement as the new Rockingham Memorial Hospital has taken shape,” said Dennis Coffman, director, Facilities Planning and Development. “Now opening day is quickly approaching and we are preparing to present this gift to the community.”
The community will see the new hospital campus for the first time at a grand opening ribbon-cutting and open house June 6. The official opening day for patient care at the new facility is June 23, although many administrative and support departments will move earlier, Coffman said.
Due to limited seating for the community previews, pre-registration is required. Register by calling RMH HealthSource at 540-433-4580.
