Education and Resources RMH Women's Center collaborates with a variety of RMH departments to provide educational and support resources for women of all ages and walks of life, including weekly and monthly educational events, assistance in health research, and women's health presentations for civic and community groups. Classes Special classes are offered periodically on topics such as assertiveness, healthy cooking and nutrition, time management, women's heart health issues, osteoporosis, and much more. Breast Cancer Support Group A collaborative free service of RMH Hahn Cancer Center and RMH Women's Center. The support group's purpose is to provide education and positive connections for women who are in the midst of diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, as well as for women who have completed treatments and wish to have an ongoing community of support and education.Call RMH Healthsource at 540-433-4580 for more information or to register. Book Discussion Groups RMH Women's Center offers a wide variety of book discussion groups addressing current women’s interests and concerns. Facilitated by an experienced educator and group leader, these groups are listed in the RMH magazine, HealthQuest. We welcome title or topic suggestions. The weekend features good food, friendship, rejuvenation and women's health education, all in a restful setting nearby. Women's Growth Groups Living Life to the Fullest, provides opportunity for women of all ages to explore their life challenges and transitions. Offered monthly, the groups are ongoing.
