RMH Behavioral Health provides a full range of mental health and chemical dependency services for adolescents, adults and seniors. We are sensitive to the individual and emotional needs of each of our patients and clients, and respect your right to be given treatment options and to participate fully in your counseling, treatment and recovery.

At RMH Behavioral Health, we provide a comprehensive approach to care by providing a variety of treatment opportunities that promote individual, family and community wellness. We will partner with you to develop skills for better living. If you are currently receiving outpatient mental health treatment, we will work closely and confidentially with your therapist or physician to develop your treatment and after-care plans.

If you are unable to complete the form in advance of your appointment, please plan on arriving 20-30 minutes early so that you can fill out the paperwork prior to your first visit.

Confidentiality

The decision to seek help is not always easy. RMH Behavioral Health is here to support you in a confidential and private manner during your efforts to improve your life.

Insurance

Although many insurance plans cover the services offered by RMH Behavioral Health, you may still wish to call your insurance company to verify coverage. We can bill your insurance, or you may choose to pay privately. Our staff will be glad to work with you to ensure that you receive the best possible care.

In an emergency

If you or a loved one are experiencing an emergency please call 911. Also know that you can be seen in the Rockingham Memorial Hospital emergency department at any time by a member of our Psychiatric Emergency Team (PET). RMH provides 24-hour, seven-day-a-week emergency psychiatric assessments. An experienced behavioral health professional, in consultation with physicians and psychiatrists, evaluates each person and determines the most appropriate level of care. To reach the Psychiatric Emergency Team (PET), call 540-689-1000 and ask that the PET be paged.
