Group Fitness Classes
Whether you prefer group exercise or simply want to complement your individual workout, we invite you to try one of over 70 fitness classes offered each week. Focused on health for your mind and body, all classes are intended to provide a combination of strength, endurance and flexibility training in a nurturing and non-competitive environment. Our monthly calendar provides a full listing of classes offered to RMH Wellness Center members.

| * 45-minute class; ** 75-minute class | BASICS 101 - Beginner classes introducing the fundamentals and basics of yoga, pilates and step.
CARDIO SCULPT - Burn calories and tone your body with this blend of cardio and strength-training intervals using a variety of equipment like step, BOSU, resistance bands and weighted balls to get a strong, sleek body.
CORE FUSION - This workout will train the muscles of your core through dynamic movement, stability training, balance awareness and floor work.
DEEP DEFINITION - Head-to-toe muscle training using free weights, resistance tubing and stability balls to strengthen your entire body.
DEEP S.E.A. (STRENGTH ENDURANCE AQUATICS) - A deep water aerobic conditioning class using buoyancy belts to achieve a non-impact cardio workout with suspended and power moves. A cross-training exercise experience for all fitness levels.
FITNESS YOGA - This yoga class is perfect for all fitness levels seeking exercises to increase balance, flexibility and relaxation. Breathing techniques and traditional postures create fluid movements designed to strengthen and stretch opposing muscle groups.
GENTLE WAVE - Gentle Wave offers 45 minutes of moderate exercise in warm water to maintain or improve muscular fitness (strength and endurance), range of motion and mobillity. Participants will enjoy a social atmosphere and experience improved function in activities of daily living. (Formaly known as AAP).
GOTTA STEP - Same great step class, great new name! All step, all the time!
H.E.A.T. - (High Energy Athletic Training) - This athletic conditioning class will bring the athlete out in you! Come join this high energy workout for athletic drills, challenges, and cross-training conditioning exercises.
HIGH-TIDE - This moderate- to high-intensity aquatics class is a great cardiovascular and strength workout. Be ready to sweat in the water!
LOW-TIDE - A light- to moderate-intensity aquatics class that incorporates basic choreography with strength and core conditioning exercises.
PURE PILATES - An intermediate to advanced class that emphasizes transitions and flow between exercises. Learn to use props to increase your sense of balance and control in core muscles while improving strength and muscular definition.
POWER PUMP - Uses a barbell with various weight plates and dumbbells. Class members are led through a series of "tracks," each focusing on a specific muscle group.
RIP-TIDE - An interval class combining simple choreography, proven conditioning principles and high energy to create the ultimate water experience. Instructors may use a variety of equipment and move between shallow and deep water.
GENTLE YOGA - A gentle, well-rounded practice suitable for beginners, seniors and anyone looking for a slower-paced class.
SIMPLY PILATES - Join us to learn the fundamental principles of pilates. You'll be guided through a series of exercises performed on the floor that help build core muscle strength. Benefits of this Pilates mat class include postural changes as well as increased flexibility.
SPIN - Multilevel intensity stationary cycling. 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesday—SPIN; 2nd and 4th Wednesday—Cardio Kick.
SPIN PLUS - Get the added bonus of core strengthening following your favorite spin routine.
SPORT-SPIN - Athletic training using T&C and spinning bikes. Spinning shoes not recommended.
S.T.A.R. - With Spin, Toning, Abs and Relaxation, you get it all! Starts with 20 minutes of heart-pumping spin, followed by a total body sculpt session. Then add 15 minutes of intense abs and top it all off with a relaxing yoga/stretch segment.
STEP EXPRESS - Squeeze in your cardio workout with this condensed version of your favorite step class.
STEP SPLIT - This time-efficient workout combines step cardio intervals and strength exercises.
STRIDE-N-STRENGTH - A class for seniors and others looking for supervised cardio, strength and stretching exercises.
WEIGHTED LOW - A combination of low-impact aerobics and strength training.
YOQUA - A class designed to restore your health and bring balance to body and mind. Yoga is a science that, when coupled with water, creates the experience of well-being. Experience stress release, realignment of the spine, muscle toning and a balanced nervous system.
