Home Visitation Family Care Nurse Program
After you go home from the hospital, a Family Care Nurse will call you to see how you and your infant are doing and to offer you a one-time visit. During the visit, the nurse will assess you and your baby, answer your questions, help you with your needs and provide you with referrals, if appropriate. Each Family Care Nurse specializes in the care of new moms and infants and is either an international board certified breastfeeding consultant or has received special training in that area.
