Our mission is to ensure healthy babies with the best possible home life.

The Hand-in-Hand Resource Mothers program offers support and resources to pregnant teens during pregnancy and the first year following birth. In our mentoring program, our community's most inexperienced mothers—teens pregnant for the first time—are matched with the most seasoned caregivers—mature women who have raised children of their own.

Hand-in-Hand Mentors
Mentors do not give medical advice or replace the prenatal care of a physician. The mentor generally continues to work with the teen until her baby is one year old. Your mentor will help you:
  • Keep medical appointments
  • Develop plans for the baby's care
  • Stay in school or continue working
  • Delay repeat pregnancies until adulthood
  • Solve day-to-day problems of being a new parent
  • Take steps toward a solid future
