The Center for Sleep Medicine occupies a large, century-old home that has been remodeled and equipped with state-of-the-art technology to meet the needs of patients, physicians and technicians. The Center has spacious, attractive waiting rooms, offices and exam rooms. It has a large conference room upstairs where physicians can meet with staff, as well as a library.
The sleep laboratory itself, which houses the bedrooms used for sleep studies, is a newly constructed 4,000-square-foot addition that adjoins the back of the house. With the feel of a bed and breakfast, bedrooms are equipped with queen-sized beds, televisions, private bathrooms, individual thermostats and soundproofed walls and windows. Following each sleep study, patients enjoy a continental breakfast before going home.
