Visiting Hours

Our visiting hour policies are for the safety and comfort of our patients.

Medical, Surgical and Pediatric Units

Under normal circumstances, a patient may have open visitation at all times by one or two adult visitors of their choosing. Additional adult visitors will be limited to two persons at a time between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. After 9 p.m. visitors must enter through the Emergency Department entrance.

The charge nurse, patient’s nurse or physician, in consultation with the patient, may lift or limit visitation restrictions in special circumstances.

Critical Care, Family Birthplace and the Inpatient Behavioral Health

Guests are limited to two adult visitors at one time during these visitation hours:

Critical Care Unit

10 a.m.-3 p.m.—Family visitation
4-7 p.m. —Family visitation
8-9 pm. —General visitation

Family Birthplace

10 a.m.-9 p.m.—General visitation
Nursery visitation is restricted at all times

Behavioral Health

5-7 p.m.—Visitation limited to two visitors at a time, age 14 and older

Emergency Department

Two visitors at a time, age 12 and older (in extenuating circumstances, exceptions may be granted for critically ill patients or to preserve the safety and security of children).

Important Safety Reminders for Our Visitors

For the safety of our patients, persons who are ill or who have a cold or any contagious disease should not visit the hospital.
Children under 12 years of age should be accompanied by an adult at all times while in the hospital, including both public areas and patient rooms.
