Those who give blood during the “Help for the Hungry” Blood Drive, to be held noon-5 p.m. Nov. 24 at the RMH Wellness Center, will double the impact of their gift.
Red Front Supermarket has pledged to donate a packet of food to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank in honor of each donor participating in the drive, which is being conducted by Virginia Blood Services.
The drive is sponsored by Red Front Supermarket of Harrisonburg, the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, RMH and the RMH Wellness Center.
To sign up to donate blood, contact the RMH Wellness Center at 540-434-6224. Walk-ins are welcome and will receive the first available time slot. The RMH Wellness Center is located at 501 Stone Spring Rd., Harrisonburg.
