Bonnie Keppel has been named Human Resources Development manager, Total Rewards and Human Resources Information Systems.
In this role, Keppel will manage wage and salary administration, employee benefits, performance management and organizational payroll. Her duties include attracting and retaining talent and ensuring that RMH is an employer of choice.
“We are pleased to have Bonnie join our team,” said Chris Porto, director, Human Resources Development. “Bonnie is a seasoned HR professional and brings a wealth of management experience to RMH. She has worked in a variety of industries and offers a new perspective to RMH.”
Keppel most recently worked as a human resources manager for Alcoa Flexible Packaging, a 230-employee company in Grottoes. She previously worked for 10 years as the human resources manager of Banta Book Group of Harrisonburg. Prior to that, she served nine years as the human resources manager of Lexis Law Publishing in Charlottesville.

Keppel earned her bachelor of science degree in social work from James Madison University and has completed additional coursework in personnel management, labor relations, industrial safety and information systems management.
She is certified by the Society for Human Relations Management as a senior professional in human resources (SPHR).
