RMH Timberville Imaging Services is now open at 444 New Market Road to provide digital X-ray and lab services to the community.
This new location will provide convenient access to quality diagnostic services for patients in the Woodstock, New Market, Luray, Timberville, and Broadway communities, noted Jon Lough, director of RMH Imaging Services.
“Because we offer digital X-ray services, RMH radiologists receive the images electronically before the patient even walks out the door of the clinic,” Lough said. “We can return most reports to the referring physician within two hours.”
Phlebotomy, or blood draw, services for lab work also are offered at the new location. Results are read at RMH and returned to the referring physician.
“We are offering these services to reduce patient travel times for diagnostic tests that their physician orders,” said Jon Lough. “This provides convenience and faster service for physicians and patients in our northern community.”
The Timberville clinic hours are 8 a.m.-noon, 12:30-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. No appointments are necessary. For more information call the office at (540) 896-7062.
RMH also offers imaging and lab services at the following locations:
- RMH Healthcare—2010 Health Campus Drive, Harrisonburg (540-689-6600)
- Lab Services—Monday-Friday, 6 a.m.-7 p.m.; Saturday, 7 a.m.-noon
- X-ray Services—Daily, including weekends, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
- RMH Occupational Health Center—1790-64B East Market Street, Harrisonburg (540-564-5622) Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
- RMH East Rockingham Health Center—13737 Spotswood Trail, Elkton (540-298-1200) Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
