Work Safety & trainingOperating on the belief that one of our most important services is information, the RMH Occupational Health Center has taken a proactive role in educating the business community on health-related issues. Through RMH, the Center offers educational opportunities with the expectation that education will result in a healthier work force and decrease employee accidents and lost time from work. The following are a few of the on-site training seminars RMH offers to local companies and their employees:
- Blood-borne pathogen training
- Farm and agricultural safety
- Drug and alcohol testing procedures
- Worksite evaluation
- Respiratory fitness testing
Corporate Health partners with outside resources to maintain an up-to-date understanding of issues that may be beneficial to area companies. These issues include OSHA, ADA and DOT guidelines, as well as worksite safety and health suggestions.
This information is shared with the business community in various formats. Often, specific information is requested by a company and provided on an individual basis. Other information may be beneficial to the business community as a whole and is shared through direct mailing.
