Learn the basics of self-care in a group setting. Sessions are led by a diabetes educator or a dietitian. Each series includes two individual visits with the diabetes educator and three nutrition sessions led by a dietitian. A support person may attend at no additional cost. Medicare and most insurances pay a portion of the cost.
