Ron Latta has been named director, Information Systems at RMH.

In this role, Latta will contribute to the ongoing implementation of electronic clinical information systems, along with overseeing the daily operation of computer systems for the hospital.

 

“I am looking forward to Ron’s contribution to the ongoing success of RMH information technology,” said Mike Rozmus, vice president, information services. “Ron brings a strong information technology management background and has a personal interest in providing excellent customer service to the organization.”

 

Latta had previously served as director of information systems and telecommunications at North Ottawa Community Health System in Grand Haven, Michigan since 1995.

 

Latta is enrolled in a master’s in healthcare administration program at Seton Hall, with an expected completion date of May 2008. He holds a bachelor’s degree in general studies from West Texas A&M.

 

Latta is a member of the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and is a student member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
