The practice, located at 644 University Boulevard, Suite A, in Harrisonburg, includes three urologists: Bary Berger, MD, Marcus Morra, MD, and Craig Sease, MD.
RMH and Harrisonburg Urology Associates have entered into a new business relationship as part of an ongoing initiative to ensure continual, uninterrupted access to essential medical services within the community, noted Randy Hoffman, director, RMH Physician Practice Management. “Harrisonburg Urology Associates has become part of RMH, and as such is now RMH Urology,” he added. “We will be working with the practice staff to recruit one more urologist and have scheduled the first site visit for early August.”
In addition to the three urologists, RMH Urology has a physician assistant and additional office support staff. Most of the staff have joined RMH in the transition of the practice, Hoffman noted. He added that patients will notice little difference in how they schedule appointments or obtain test results from their doctor. Office hours will remain 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the office fax and phone numbers remain the same (phone: 434-7622, and fax: 433-8175).
“We are pleased to enter into a new partnership with a high quality physician practice,” said RMH President Jim Krauss. “Our partnership will allow for better integration of healthcare services to the community. Such relationships are becoming more common across the country, and we are glad that we can realize the advantages here in our community.”
