Kay Harrison has been named vice president, business development for Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

In this role, Harrison will oversee strategic planning, marketing, communications and public relations. In addition, Harrison will work to build business relationships among the medical staff, the hospital and a variety of business partners.

Harrison joined RMH in 1990. She has served as director of medical records, director of network development and director of community health. She had served as director of planning and new business development since 2002. Prior to joining RMH, she was supervisor of medical records for Surgical Services of Orlando. 

Harrison holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the Medical College of Virginia and a bachelor’s degree in medical record administration from the University of Central Florida.
