Healthy Woman Workshop

An RMH Women's Health Focus workshop with health, heart...and spunk.

Bring your favorite gal pal to an engaging workshop just for women! We'll be learning, sharing and laughing about some of the hottest topics important to women today. Our five speakers are experts in the field of women's health and inspiration – including our special guest speaker, Mary Foley, who teaches all women to "live like your nail color—even if your nails are naked!" Dress comfortably. This casual event will include some light stretching and movement exercises.

9:30 a.m.	"Heart Health 101"
	Take charge of your heart! Heart health navigator Maria Hostetter, RN, BSN, will give you tips and insights that you can use immediately to help prevent heart disease, the number one killer of American women.
10:30 a.m.	"One Stop Shop: RMH Breast Care"
	From genetic testing to breast-sparing procedures to reconstructive surgery, RMH can offer the women in our community a "one stop shop" for their breast care needs. Regardless of your experience with breast cancer, this is one very important presentation you won't want to miss. Presented by breast surgeon Heidi Rafferty, MD and plastic surgeon Saied Asfa, MD.
11:30 a.m.	"Lithe and Lively"
	Manage stiffness, aches and pains with these great stretches and low-impact exercises. Presented by an RMH Wellness Center instructor.
Noon	Buffet lunch, sponsored by Myriad
12:30 p.m.	Live Like Your Nail Color, Even if Your Nails are Naked.
	Be inspired by keynote speaker Mary Foley! Mary is a national thought leader for women with a reputation for her spunk and experience. Mary encourages women to be "outrageously in charge of their lives and lovin' it." Guests will receive a free copy of her book and a custom nail color designed just for us.
